Applications Being Taken for Basketball Academy Camp
AUBURN - The Central Maine Athletic Department is pleased to announce it is taking applications for the eighth annual basketball academy camp training sessions. There will be boys grades 9-12 guard play session on Sunday, October 3 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.; girls grades 9-12 guard session on Sunday, October 10 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.; boys and girls grades 6-12 post play session on Saturday, October 16 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.; boys grades 6-8 guard play session on Sunday, October 17 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., and girls 6-8 guard play session on Sunday, October 24 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. The Central Maine Basketball Academy, in conjunction with Central Maine Community College, has developed this “one-of-a-kind” basketball series designed to teach players all aspects of his/her position. From what to eat before games, to what type of weight lifting program to use, to what skills are need in each position, this camp will prepare the player to attack his/her position with all the tools. The Central Maine Basketball Academy has established a staff second to none in bringing you the best and brightest minds in Maine basketball today. CM Athletic Director Dave Gonyea and his staff lead the charge and are joined by area professionals, and a variety of coaches, paraprofessionals, and specialists from all parts of the basketball world.
